Head Unit Surrounds

Both early and later type of head unit

We often get asked to make these surrounds for people but the logistics often do not make it viable let alone the cost (£180), so please see below how we produce these items.

Remove the original head unit and then remove the fascia (2 small screws either side)

Cut the middle of the fascia out until the new surround just fits in

You can hold the surround in place with either some hot melt glue, plasticine, just in a couple of positions

You then fill the gaps with either car body filler or epoxy resin and shape to a smooth finish

Paint in satin black to match the centre console instrument pack

Takes roughly 3 hours to produce
